What: Workshop– Participants will learn top down processing & conceptual phrasing visually and aurally.
When: Friday, March 5, 2010, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 6, 2010, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

About the Presenter: Ms. Gray currently holds the Certificate of Interpretation & Certificate of Transliteration from the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, provisional certification from the American Sign Language Teacher’s Association, and Louisiana State Level V interpreter certification. She is an educational mentor for the state of Louisiana. She has an AAS from Front Range Community College the accredited Interpreter Training Program, a Bachelors of General Studies from Louisiana State University—Shreveport and is currently attending Saint Thomas University in a Masters Program of pastoral ministry for the Deaf. She has served as a member of LRID board of directors and the State of Louisiana Interpreter Certification Board. Ms. Gray is co-founder of Kommunication Presentations, LLC and is employed as a private practice interpreter and workshop presenter.

ARID is an approved sponsor for Continuing Education Activities under the CMP and ACET. The program is offered for a total of .6 CEUs in Professional Studies with a Content Knowledge Level of Beginner to Advanced. Target audience is certified and pre-certified interpreters. QAST level interpreters may earn 6 hours CEU training.
